See the work that needs you today

Daily Business Pulse is for a director or owner responsible for several team or shared mailboxes. It reads only the mailboxes your organisation authorises and organises new work into one twice-daily briefing. Instead of another summary per inbox, it separates the items that need a decision, shipments that are stuck, customers waiting for a price, genuine complaints and changes since the last brief.

The goal is earlier visibility without asking managers to stop and report what is already in their mail. Every item keeps its operational context and can reveal which authorised mailbox it came from. The sample below explains the flow; it contains illustrative work, not customer mail.

Illustrative briefing

Open the section you would read first

Choose a briefing section to see the kind of operational line it can surface. These examples describe the format, not activity from a connected mailbox.

Sample line

Needs you today: a customer escalation is waiting in an authorised branch mailbox. Reveal the source, then open a draft to the responsible employee if you need an update.

Correct the brief from the email

Each line can be promoted or reduced for the next briefing. You can mute a sender or thread, undo a mute, and reveal the source mailboxes. A receipt in the next brief confirms what changed. On Microsoft 365, “Message employee” opens an addressed draft in your own mail application. You review and send it yourself.

Read-only means no mailbox actions

The service never sends, replies, forwards, deletes or files mail for a user. Microsoft 365 can enforce the readable mailbox group at platform level. Google Workspace uses a code-enforced allowlist checked against live Google Group membership before access. Both use read-only permissions; the only outgoing service message is the briefing itself.

Work content, not staff surveillance

Daily Business Pulse does not record keystrokes, active time, idle time, screenshots or a per-person productivity score. It reviews what new work mail says on its schedule, then completes that pass. It helps a leader see operational work across selected inboxes; it is not a behaviour-monitoring history.

Questions people ask

Can Daily Business Pulse send or reply to email for me?

No. It uses read-only mailbox access. The Message employee control opens a draft in your own mail app; you review it and send it yourself.

Does it monitor employee activity?

No. It does not track keystrokes, active time, idle time, screenshots, behaviour history or per-person productivity scores.

How often does the briefing arrive?

Twice daily by default, with schedule controls for timezone, selected days and several time slots, plus a send-now option.
